The Department of Environmental, Resource, and Development Economics
is a newly established faculty whose research and teaching range from
humanity to science and engineering. The faculty’s research focuses
on the issues of environment, resources and sustainable development.
The graduates are expected to fill management and research positions
in the government, large enterprises, higher education and research
institutions, and international organizations. The School of Economics
has reached a package of agreements with the Department of Agricultural
and Resource Economics and its related research center of the University
of California at Berkeley. Under these agreements, the two departments
will cooperate on their graduate programs and various research projects
as well. |
