From May 30 to June 1, Led by Professor Dong Zhiyong, associate dean of School of Economics Peking University and Professor Wang Yuesheng, chair of international economic and trade department, a group of 19 faculty members and students of School of Economics Peking University visited Sungkyunkwan University China College (Seoul). They attended the 6th China-Korea Graduate Student Economics Forum co-hosted by both and undertaken by Sungkyunkwan University China College. Sungkyunkwan University has a long history (formerly known as Imperial College in Goryeo period) with complete disciplines. It is the origin of university education in South Korea and gain the top comprehensive university in the ranking of domestic colleges and universities in South Korea in 2013 by “JoongAng Ilbo daily”. Economic forum of China and South Korea graduate students is the annual academic communication program jointly organized by Peking University School of Economics and Sungkyunkwan University China College. Previously they have successfully held five sessions. This session is the first time to be undertaken by the South Korea. The theme of the forum is “international operation strategy of China and South Korea enterprises ". In the forum on May 31, 15 students from School of Economics report 8 cooperated or independent academic papers. The participated teachers and students highly appreciated on the academic and potential ability of Peking University students. Both sides further deepen the friendship through this forum and hope this academic communication program may insist for a long time.
